Machined plastic cylinder sleeves

Identify the plastic sleeve required. The quoted scope covers manufacturing the component; installation or refurbishment of the larger assembly requires separate arrangements.
The sleeve dimensions and end features
The bore, outside diameter and length describe the main sleeve body. The drawing supplies the dimensions, tolerances and any shoulders, grooves, holes or end details to be machined.
- Bore runs through the sleeve.
- Outside surface defines the outer diameter.
- Length runs between the end faces.

The supplied sleeve
Specify dimensions for the finished, uninstalled component. If an assembly drawing also gives installed dimensions, clearly distinguish the requirements for the sleeve CDS is being asked to manufacture.
Cylinder sleeve or bushing?

Material and manufacturing requirements
Provide the specified material and exact grade, including permitted substitutions. CDS reviews the drawing and material together to confirm machining feasibility and the scope of the quote.

Part specification
Drawing, part number and revision; inside and outside diameters, overall length, wall and end details; specified tolerances and finish for the supplied sleeve.
Material and order details
Exact material and grade, approved substitutions, quantity by size or revision, requested timing and required material or inspection documents. Include a previous CDS order reference for repeat work.
