Customer-specified contact profile
Pocket contours and guide surfaces follow the profile on your drawing. A container sample can provide reference information, but the customer must establish the required clearances and contact geometry.
Machined mounting and locating features
Bores, keyways, hole patterns and locating faces position the part on the equipment. Their dimensions and orientation belong on the controlled drawing, including any customer-approved change.
Guidance and lane control
UHMW guides and wear strips provide fixed sliding contact. Turn blocks and dividers can be submitted as individual machined parts with specified profiles and mounting features. CDS confirms feasibility for their exact construction.
Pitch and drive timing
A timing gear engages a synchronous toothed belt. A timing wheel can locate or transfer containers between stations. Supply its specified geometry and shaft interface for machining review.
A helical timing screw meters, spaces and sometimes orients containers before a handoff. Contact CDS to discuss the particular timing-screw component you need. For machine guards, covers, transfer plates and diverters, confirm the geometry and manufacturing requirements for each part.
Replicate the existing part or machine an approved revision.
A replacement order needs a reliable record of the part to reproduce. A format change or redesigned component needs the customer's updated drawing and material specification.
Worn parts and current drawings
A worn pocket, guide face or hub may no longer retain its original dimensions. Old drawings, known-good parts and equipment records help distinguish the existing geometry from damage.
CDS can document existing geometry for manufacture. Changes intended to correct jams, wear or product handling must be specified by the customer's engineering team.
Machining the specified material
The UHMW, acetal and nylon pages explain material differences relevant to your engineering specification. For a PET requirement, provide the exact grade so CDS can confirm availability and machining scope.
Specify the chosen material and any approved alternatives. CDS confirms whether it can machine and supply that grade for the defined part.

CNC milling and CNC turning suit different part geometries. Discuss guards, covers or other parts requiring fabrication or assembly with CDS to confirm what work is available.
