Blanks and discs
A blank or disc is cut to a supplied size for further use or machining. Its supplied dimensions may include a customer-specified allowance for later work.

Where a drawing names a trade name, include the exact grade and whether alternatives may be considered. Brand availability and substitution need confirmation.

Keep each material, supplied size and quantity together in your request. If the exact grade is unknown, use the wording on your drawing or previous order so CDS can clarify the supply requirement.

- Quantity, required date and recurring delivery needs
- Required material documents or traceability records
