Manifolds
A stationary ported body distributes fluid through defined internal passages and connections.
The passage map, port schedule, exact connections, seals and mounting define the routing geometry.
Valve and fluid handling
CDS machines custom distribution manifolds, PTFE valve seats and wear rings. A defined plastic valve-spool project can also be submitted for review. CDS machines to your component drawing, specified material and finished-part requirements.
Request a new part, an approved revision or replication of an existing component. Drawings, CAD files and reliable samples help establish the machining work.
Four different jobs
A manifold body, seat, spool and wear ring require different machined features. The component drawing controls their dimensions and fit.
A stationary ported body distributes fluid through defined internal passages and connections.
The passage map, port schedule, exact connections, seals and mounting define the routing geometry.
A localized polymer interface seals against a moving ball, disc, poppet, plate or plug.
CDS machines the specified contact profile, bore and retention features in the required PTFE compound.
Lands and grooves change port connections as the spool travels inside a separate valve bore.
The drawing specifies lands, grooves, diameters and their locations. CDS must confirm material, configuration and machining feasibility for the individual project.
A replaceable ring guides movement or controls clearance. It does not perform the seal's job.
The drawing defines inside and outside diameters, width and any split or groove. Confirm the CDS part scope and specified material for the individual ring.
Schematic component functions, with project-defined geometry. Complete valves, pumps, cylinders, piping and matched assemblies are outside this machined-component offer.
Operating conditions
Your engineering team establishes material suitability, dimensions and system ratings. CDS uses the resulting drawing and material specification to quote and machine the part.
A material change can affect chemical resistance, movement and sealing behavior. Keep the approved manufacturer, grade and compound on the machining specification.
Pressure, vacuum and temperature ratings require application engineering. A machined ported body does not acquire a system rating from its material name.
Seat profiles, spool diameters and ring clearances are controlled by the customer drawing. Identify the specified tolerances and surface requirements that machining must meet.
Any required inspection, cleanliness, testing or documentation must be confirmed with the quotation.
A machining inquiry needs the approved component drawing, exact grade and required acceptance records. Sector-specific qualification and equipment ratings remain with the customer.
Your specification establishes compatibility with process and cleaning media. CDS confirms the specified material, machining scope and requested records for the component.
Specified materials
CDS machines custom manifolds in PVDF. The quotation must confirm your specified grade, availability and documentation. The family name does not identify a supplied brand or establish a pressure rating.
The valve-seat offer includes virgin, glass-filled, carbon-filled and bronze-filled PTFE. Specify filler type and percentage with the seat drawing.
A compound change requires customer approval because it can change wear, creep and chemical behavior. Include required material records with the compound callout.
These material options belong to the named components. For a spool or wear-ring inquiry, keep the drawing-controlled grade and allowed substitutions explicit; confirm machining and material availability for that project.
Worn, damaged or obsolete
An old drawing, part number or reliable sample can establish a replacement request. Damaged areas may no longer represent the dimensions that need to be reproduced.
Passages, ports, seat contours and mounting features should follow the current approved drawing. If your engineering team changes a feature or material, identify the revision to be manufactured.
Wear can alter spool diameters, ring thickness or sealing profiles. Intact features and previous records can help document the original component, but unknown dimensions and material need customer clarification.
CDS replicates existing geometry; it does not diagnose valve failures or design replacement changes.
Reverse engineering can document an existing component for replacement machining. Contact CDS before arranging sample delivery. Start with a replacement sample.
